A lot of the perceptions that people have of Victoria Police, is that we're naturally working in a risk environment.
But that risk goes a lot deeper than that. People want to see our cars out there and they want to see us having a presence in the community. But it's all the other things that sit behind that, enable us and allow us to do that.
To get our people where they need to be at the time they need to be there and support the community
We provide insurance and risk based services to them, so whilst we are their insurer we are also a risk capability advisor for their organization and our role in that is providing best practice advice to our organisations, to ensure their risk capability is fit to tackle future risks.
We really are a safety net to our government clients. We don't want them to see risk as a barrier, it's actually more of an enabler. It allows you to make informed decisions.
VMIA gives you a level of comfort. So I think it helps you understand that what you're doing actually is working and is right
It's about getting our people out there, helping, assisting, keeping them safe and protecting.
